Banka Banka Station is a large cattle station out on the Stuart Highway. Annie grew up there in the 1970’s and 80’s while her parents worked as station hands.
The painting shows the hills of that country and the two waterholes that are at each end of the station.
The lines and colors in the painting represent the changing seasons and different plants life that happen throughout the year.
